Benefit sharing: In return for sharing proprietary information on drug candidates, our cooperation partners will receive a fair share of 55pharma’s future proceeds related to their respective drug candidate.
Type of partnership: Depending on the maturity of the drug discovery project, we license in drug candidates or provide research support in exchange for receiving an exclusive in-licensing option.
Steps towards a partnership: We start with signing a mutual non-disclosure agreement. which ensures confidentiality for all parties involved and protects intellectual property rights in the case no patent has yet been filed. Prior to making a specific offer, we thoroughly investigate the commercial potential of the respective discoveries together with our potential cooperation partner and our advisors. This process typically takes between 4-8 weeks and requires a significant investment of time from both sides.
